Campaigns and analytics
Set up campaigns and read their measured results.
Campaigns send a saved email to subscribers on a contact list. They are available to administrators with an Ultimate license. Ordinary paid template and list-email workflows remain separate.
Start with Campaign setup
Open the Templates menu and choose Campaign setup. The wizard guides you through the existing campaign settings: name, SMTP connection, contact list, signup form, campaign email template, opt-in, landing pages, tracking where supported, and sending speed.
The first saved step creates a draft campaign. Later steps save changes to that draft. Reopening the draft resumes from its missing required setup. The review lists the server's blockers and warnings and lets you jump back to the relevant step. Open campaign hands the draft to the campaign editor; the wizard itself does not launch a send.
If a picker is empty, follow its link to create the missing connection, list, form or template, then return. The wizard reuses those saved resources.
Select and edit campaigns
The Campaigns sidebar lists saved campaigns. Select one to edit it or open its analytics. Search and paging help with longer lists. On smaller screens, the campaign picker provides the same selection.
The editor's checklist explains what blocks activation and what deserves attention. Its links take you to the relevant section. Save your changes, resolve blockers and review the sending settings before using the campaign's activation or launch controls.
A campaign template must contain the unsubscribe field. A campaign takes a copy of the email content when it launches, so editing the reusable template later does not silently rewrite that launch.
Signup and confirmation
Attach a form that uses the campaign's contact list if visitors should subscribe through it. Double opt-in asks new subscribers to confirm by email before they can be mailed. Configure the confirmation template and sending connection in the campaign. Optional confirmation and unsubscribe pages can use your site's design; the hosted pages provide the default flow.
Subscription state is separate from campaign send state. Someone can be subscribed while their message is still waiting, and opting out prevents remaining eligible delivery work from sending to them.
Analytics
Select a campaign and open Analytics. Choose the date range you want to inspect. Counts, rates and daily activity describe the selected campaign, with the screen labeling the measurement period and what each figure counts.
SMTP acceptance records the handoff to the outgoing server. It does not prove inbox delivery. Current queue figures show the work's present state, while period-based results use the indicated time range. Open and click measurements depend on tracking being enabled and usable; mail-client privacy features can affect them.
Bounce rate counts authenticated permanent failures and final temporary failures against SMTP-accepted messages in the selected period. A delayed message that may still be delivered does not count as a bounce.
Bounce rate requires verified feedback from a supported delivery-report source. A receiver alone does not make incoming mail trustworthy. PressedMail must verify the source and correlate a report with the accepted message. Partial or stale collection and unsupported providers leave the rate unavailable instead of displaying zero; observed authenticated counts may still be shown. Historical sends without that feedback coverage also leave the rate unavailable. The current Beta MXroute configuration does not provide that supported feedback proof.
Use the feedback setup control only for a mailbox owned by the campaign owner that is still accessible, and a supported source. Verification is an explicit action; it is not an automatic campaign launch or a broadcast to your list. Collection reads supported reports without marking messages read.
Sending and privacy
Respect your mail provider's sending limits and review the list's consent before launching. Campaign jobs, subscription changes and measurements are stored on the WordPress site. Personal-data export and erasure cover the supported records; an in-flight delivery can require completing its safety checks before erasure.
See Forms, Email templates and SMTP for the resources used by campaign setup.
