Contacts, Lists, and Imports
Build contact records from email activity and manage lists.
The address book keeps records, groupings, and history in the same workspace as the mail, opened from the Contacts icon in the workspace header.

Contact Records
- Records hold name, email address, company, phone, job title, birthday, tags, and notes, plus custom fields you define.
- Favourites pin the people you deal with most to the top of the list.
- Notes and metadata attach context to the person rather than to a single thread.
- Each record carries an activity timeline: a structured history of messages and interactions with that person.
Capturing People
- Automatic capture adds people you correspond with to the address book as you go.
- Save a sender directly from an open message; their name and address carry over.
- Add a contact by hand with Add Contact.
Lists
Lists group people the way you work (projects, clients, teams), and the contact list filters by them. A contact can belong to several lists at once.
Import and export
- Import CSV and vCard files. Header matching is deliberately loose, so most exports from other tools land correctly the first time.
- Imports run without a preview step. Review the source file before importing it.
- Export the whole address book back out in the same formats. Your data is never locked in.
Contacts are stored locally in WordPress. PressedMail does not sync them with a provider address book.
