Snippets and Signatures
Use composer snippets, reusable content blocks, and signatures.
Blocks, Snippets, and Signatures
Reusable content lives in Settings → Signatures: the sign-offs applied to outgoing mail, and the snippets and content blocks you insert while writing.

Signatures
- Each WordPress user manages their own signatures, so a shared install signs mail as whoever is writing.
- Set a default signature per account, plus alternates you can switch to from the composer.
- A signature can carry formatting, links, and an image. It round-trips through the editor without flattening.
- Choose whether a signature applies to new messages, replies, or both.
Snippets
Snippets are short reusable passages (a booking link, payment terms, a support greeting), inserted from the composer instead of retyped. Create them in Settings → Signatures and insert them while writing; each snippet keeps its formatting.
Content Blocks
Longer reusable sections work the same way as snippets but hold structured content: multi-paragraph explanations, formatted instructions, address blocks. Compose them once, insert them anywhere.
Good practice
- Keep one canonical signature per sending identity rather than variants that drift.
- Put anything you type more than twice a week into a snippet.
- Review signatures after changing a sending account, since signatures apply per account.
