Summary
1.6.1 makes draft autosave something you choose again, makes each AI switch do what it says, and gives the WordPress.org listing a clearer picture of what Pro adds.
Changed
- Draft autosave is off until you turn it on under Settings, Mail handling. 1.6.0 had it on for everyone who had not saved a preference. If you saved any preference after 1.6.0 went live, autosave stays as it was then, because the setting was stored with the rest.
- The WordPress.org listing says what Pro adds in plain words, and the database requirements now sit under Installation.
Fixed
- Saving the Composer card no longer switches AI off, or on, for the whole site (Pro). The site-wide AI switch moves only when you move it.
- Auto-tagging obeys its own switch everywhere (Pro). With the tool off, the tag suggestion route, the classify and queue routes and the Run auto-tagger rule action now stop on the server. Before, only their buttons were hidden, so with a provider saved a signed-in user could still send message text to it or spend PressedMail AI credits.
Upgrade Notes
- Most sites have nothing to do.
- If you want drafts saved for you, turn on Save drafts automatically under Settings, Mail handling.
- If saving the Composer card turned AI off for your whole site before, the site-wide switch stays off until you turn it on in the AI settings.
