Cookie Policy

Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how CurbSoftware Tech Innovations ("we," "us," and "our") uses cookies, local storage, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies on the PressedMail website, account area, checkout flows, and related services.

For information about how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and scripts. These tools can remember preferences, keep you signed in, secure checkout flows, measure usage, and help us operate the site.

How We Use Them

PressedMail may use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential site operation.
  • Account login, sessions, and security.
  • Checkout, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and license flows.
  • Preferences, language, display settings, and cookie choices.
  • Product analytics and performance measurement.
  • Support, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and error investigation.

Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are required for the website, customer account area, checkout, security, and related service functions. These may include authentication, session, CSRF protection, load balancing, fraud-prevention, payment, and consent-record cookies.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled through the PressedMail cookie banner because the site and checkout flows need them to work. You can block cookies through your browser, but parts of the site may stop working.

Optional Analytics

Analytics help us understand page views, feature usage, conversions, and product performance so we can improve PressedMail.

We use Umami, which sets no cookies and stores no persistent tracking identifier of its own. Because nothing is stored on your device, the analytics script runs by default and stops as soon as you choose "Reject optional cookies" in the cookie banner. It also honours your browser's Do Not Track setting.

If you choose "Reject optional cookies," we do not load the analytics script from the PressedMail website for that browser unless you later change your choice. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer.

While you are signed in, analytics events are associated with your account identifier so a customer journey can be followed across visits. They never include your email address, password, message content, or mailbox data.

Marketing Cookies

We may use marketing cookies or similar technologies for campaign measurement, attribution, or relevant product communications where permitted by law and your choices. Marketing cookies are optional and are not required to use the site.

When you accept optional cookies, PressedMail uses these first-party campaign cookies:

CookiePurposeRetention
curb_tracking_campaignConnects a visit and later purchase to the campaign link that brought you to PressedMail.30 days
curb_tracking_visitorAssigns a random visitor ID so repeat campaign visits can be counted without storing your name or email address.365 days
curb_tracking_consentTells the visit-recording endpoint that you accepted optional tracking.365 days

PressedMail does not set these cookies when you reject optional cookies or when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. If you withdraw consent, the site removes them.

Third-Party Cookies

Third-party services may set or read cookies when they provide services to PressedMail. These may include:

  • Stripe and BitCart for checkout, payments, fraud prevention, invoices, and transaction processing.
  • Crypto payment services or networks for supported crypto payment flows.
  • Analytics and performance services.
  • Hosting, security, CDN, and monitoring services.
  • Embedded media, documentation, or support tools.

Third-party services have their own policies. Their cookies may be essential to the third-party feature you choose to use, such as checkout.

Cookie Consent Choices

The PressedMail banner provides these choices:

  • Accept optional cookies: permits optional analytics and similar non-essential technologies for that browser.
  • Reject optional cookies: keeps optional analytics and similar non-essential technologies disabled for that browser.

We store your banner choice in local storage under cookie_consent_status. This lets the site remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies.

Clearing browser storage or using another browser or device may reset your choice. If the banner appears again, you can choose again.

Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies and similar technologies by:

  • Using the PressedMail cookie banner when it appears.
  • Clearing site data, cookies, or local storage in your browser.
  • Blocking or deleting cookies through browser settings.
  • Using browser privacy settings, tracking prevention, or extension controls.

Blocking all cookies may break login, checkout, security, payment, language, preference, and account features.

Do Not Track and Browser Signals

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" or similar signals. There is no single industry standard for responding to those signals. Where legally required and technically feasible, we honor applicable opt-out or consent signals.

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

...Email Swiss Army Knife...

We use PressedMail as a value added service for clients and potential clients as a feature of our agency's offering helping put us ahead of competition. We love the white-labelling feature, automation, and security controls. It also replaces several of the other plugins we used to use and it's like a small CRM.
