Summary
PressedMail 1.0.23 fixes tables in the reading pane, gives the two "something is
slow" notices a way to act on them, and stops opening a message waiting on the
mail server.
Fixed
- Tables in an email are readable again. They were forced into a fixed column
layout while their cells were told to wrap anywhere, and the two together
collapsed every column to about a character wide. Tables now size to their
content, and one wider than the reading pane scrolls instead of being
squeezed.
- The expired-session notice told you to reload the page while its button
quietly retried in the background, which cannot work: a new sign-in needs a
real page load. The button now reloads.
Added
- A Reload button on the background-sync notice. When the site's scheduler is
behind, PressedMail keeps working in the tab you have open, and reloading is
the one thing that helps.
Changed
- Opening a message is faster on modest hosting. PressedMail now loads the
message bodies for the page you are looking at, and keeps doing it as you page
through the list or change folder, so the reading pane usually has the message
before you click it.
- That work waits its turn: it pauses while a mailbox sync is running and stops
entirely while a sync is already reported as slow.
