Point wp_mail() at one of your connections and every message WordPress sends (password resets, WooCommerce receipts, form notifications, other plugins) goes out authenticated instead of through PHP mail(). It replaces a separate SMTP plugin, does not use an account slot, and logs metadata only.

Connect Gmail with an app password, Outlook with OAuth or an app password, or enter the IMAP and SMTP settings for another provider. PressedMail includes a pure-PHP fallback for hosts without the native IMAP extension.

Sign in with Microsoft
Connect Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 with OAuth: no app password and no Entra app registration of your own. The client secret lives on the PressedMail relay, and tokens are redeemed server to server.

SMTP sending
Each account sends through its own SMTP server and identity, so replies leave from the address they should. Sender aliases let you send as another address on the same mailbox.

Automatic sync runs every five minutes by default and adjusts anywhere from one minute to an hour, or set it to zero and refresh by hand when you choose to.

Encrypted credentials
Mailbox passwords and OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest under AES-256-GCM with a key derived for your site, in a versioned envelope. Connection errors are classified, retried with backoff, and a circuit breaker stops PressedMail hammering a host that is down.
